Dangerous Expectations in Relationships

In Proverbs 13:12, it reads, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life."  Translated into everyday terms...expectations not met, makes the mind, will, & emotions sick (afflicted, grieved, diseased), but when the expectation are met, there is life, joy, and fulfillment.  Everyone was born with expectations, realistic or ideal!  Every relationship comes with expectations! However, unexamined and unwillingness to address idealist and unrealistic expectations puts us, as individuals, and the relationship, in dangerous quarters.  In this relationship series we address the spiritual, soulish, and practical application to how we examine our expectations, tweet them when necessary, and find fulfillment in ourselves and others.
